DivSet Privacy Policy

DivSet is a local app for recording holdings and dividend information. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information Processed on Your Device

To provide its core features, DivSet stores the information you enter or maintain on your device. This can include:

• holding names, stock symbols, and markets
• share counts and total cost
• dividend details such as per-share dividend, actual received amount, tax rate, ex-dividend date, payment date, and status
• in-app preferences related to presentation, sorting, and filtering

This information is stored locally on your device by default.

2. How the Information Is Used

Your local information is used only to:

• display and manage your holdings and dividend records
• calculate expected dividends, received dividends, yields, monthly totals, and related summaries
• sort, filter, and organize information inside the app
• save your local app preferences

DivSet does not require an account.

3. What We Do Not Collect or Upload

DivSet does not use developer servers to collect, receive, or upload your holdings or dividend data. It does not provide cloud sync. It does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or advertising/analytics/tracking SDKs.

4. Device Permissions and Third Parties

Based on the confirmed behavior of the current version, DivSet's core functions do not depend on an account and do not require you to provide personal information to the developer for recordkeeping or calculation features.

The developer does not directly receive your app data unless you choose to contact support by email. In that case, the content of your message may also be processed by the email provider you choose under its own policies.

5. Retention, Changes, and Deletion

Your holdings, dividend records, and preferences remain on your device until you change, delete, or clear them.

You can manage your data by:

• editing or deleting holdings and dividend records in the app
• using the app's clear-all action to remove locally saved data
• uninstalling the app to remove local app data

If your device has system-level backups enabled, whether local app data is backed up or later removed may still depend on device and operating system behavior.

6. Information You Send for Support

If you contact the developer by email, we may retain the information in your message only as long as needed to respond and keep a necessary support record. We do not use that information for unrelated purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

DivSet is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child sent personal information through a support channel, please contact us so we can review the request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if DivSet's data practices change in the future. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
