Listkit Privacy Policy

Listkit is a local-first task list app. We process only the information needed to provide tasks, subtasks, reminders, widgets, backups, and preferences.

Information We Process

The following data may be stored on your device:

• Tasks, subtasks, priority, status, due dates, reminder times, completion times, Trash state, and sort order
• Preferences such as language, theme, and onboarding state
• JSON backup files you choose to export or import
• Limited task summary data written to the system widget container, such as active count, due-today count, progress, and a few task titles

How We Use Information

This information is used only to display and manage your task list, calculate progress, trigger local reminders, refresh widgets, support search and filters, drag sorting, Trash, export, and import.

What We Do Not Do

Listkit does not require an account, upload your task data to developer servers, sell personal information, use advertising tracking SDKs, or share your data without an action you choose.

Permissions

Listkit requests notification permission only when you enable reminders for tasks. The current version does not request camera, photo library, microphone, location, or contacts permissions.

Widgets

If you use widgets, Listkit writes limited task summary data to the system-approved widget container. This data remains on your device.

Export and Import

Export creates a JSON file on your device. Import reads only the JSON file you choose. You decide where exported files are saved, shared, or deleted.
