MiniBill Privacy Policy

MiniBill is a local-first personal ledger. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use its bookkeeping, reminder, backup, restore, and sharing features.
1. Information Processed on Your Device
MiniBill stores the information you enter to provide its core functions. This can include ledger entries, amounts, categories, notes, dates, budgets, reminder settings, and app preferences. The information is stored locally on your device.
2. How the Information Is Used
Your local information is used only to show and organize your ledger, calculate summaries, create local reminders, render share images, and create or restore backups that you choose. MiniBill does not require an account.
3. What We Do Not Collect or Upload
MiniBill does not use developer servers to collect or upload your ledger data. It does not provide cloud sync, advertising, analytics, tracking, or advertising/analytics/tracking SDKs. We do not sell your ledger data or use it for advertising.
4. Notifications and Device Permissions
MiniBill may request notification permission only when you choose to use reminders. Reminders are scheduled locally by your device. The app does not need an account or a developer server to send them.
5. Backup, Restore, Export, and Sharing
Backup/export files are created only when you manually choose to export them. Restore reads only the backup file you choose. You decide where a backup is saved, whether it is shared, and when it is deleted.
MiniBill can also render a local image for sharing. When you actively share an image or an exported file, the selected destination receives the content you choose to send. That destination, such as a messaging app, email provider, file service, or social platform, may process the content under its own privacy policy. MiniBill does not send it to a developer server.
6. Third Parties
MiniBill does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. Third parties can receive data only after you choose a sharing or export destination, or when you contact us through a service you select.
7. Retention and Deletion
Ledger information remains on your device until you change or remove it. You can delete individual entries, replace local data by restoring a backup, delete exported backup files from their saved locations, or uninstall MiniBill to remove the app's local data, subject to your device and operating system behavior.
If you contact us, we may retain the information in your message only as needed to respond and keep a support record. Your email provider may also retain it according to its own practices.
8. Children's Privacy
MiniBill is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the app. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a support channel, please contact us so we can review the request.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when MiniBill's data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
