Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the displayed price different from a store quote?
Actual quotes can vary because of brand differences, store policies, labor fees, buyback rules, spreads, and refresh timing. Prices and calculations shown in the app are for reference only.
Why did a price alert not trigger?
Confirm that notification permission is enabled and the device has network access. Starting with 1.0.14, alerts are synchronized to the server and delivered through Jiguang Push based on the latest public Shanghai Gold Exchange quote. A successfully delivered alert is removed automatically.
Why do I sometimes see cached data?
If the network is unavailable or a market data endpoint is temporarily unreachable, the app may show the most recent locally cached data so that basic browsing remains available.
Will my portfolio and alerts sync across devices?
After signing in, portfolio records and alerts can synchronize through PalmGoldPrice. Without sign-in, portfolio records remain primarily on the current device. Remote price alerts are synchronized separately so the server can send notifications.
Will my data remain after I delete the app?
Deleting the app generally removes local data. Data already synchronized to a signed-in account can be restored after signing in again. Contact support to remove any remote alert that could not synchronize its deletion.
How can I report a data issue or suggest a feature?
